It's not that long ago that the only pink Daylilies were either muddy colored or so pale they washed out before afternoon. Breeders took up the challenge, and now we have a number of wonderful pinks to choose from. My Sweet Rose is one of choicest, both for the rich, clear pink color and for the sheer profusion of its blooms! It has exceptionally well-budded scapes that keep opening blooms for weeks in midsummer, and the flowers are quite uniform, impressively large and beautifully ruffled. They're even fragrant, and not the barely-there scent of many Daylilies, but a sweet, heady perfume.
