Stout (father of modern daylily breeding) came out with the first red Daylily back in the 1930's, breeders have been working on creating a great red Daylily, and Red Razzmatazz is at the top of the distinguished heap! Well-branched and heavily budded scapes bear impressive 5.5-inch blooms that are almost flawless in their form, color and substance. The color is a pure, true red that holds up well to heat and sun; it is sparked by the small yellow-green eye and the petals have just enough ruffling to keep things interesting. The bright blooms really shine against the unusually good foliage, which is rich green, full and lush. 5.5-inch flowers on 20-inch stems in the Mid- to Late season. Hemerocallis 'Red Razzmatazz'
