Here is an older Daylily that has stood the test of time - both for its bright, complex coloring, and for its excellent performance in the garden. Tall and imposing on 3-foot stems, the blooms sizzle with their petals of golden orange, halo of burnt orange and edges of cream that develop in hot weather. Plant this robust grower in a group in your yard or lining your drive; they'll grow happily for years, getting thicker and more lush with each season. This is a tetraploid (twice the chromosomes), which means it has stronger foliage and more scapes with more flowers than the average daylily. At 6 inches, the blooms are also extra large and qualify for the WOW!^™ Daylily classification. 6-inch blooms on 36-inch stems open Early Season and continue into Midseason.
