Stella de Oro Daylily
This was a Real Trail Blazer - the First Truly Recurrent Bloomer!

Myriads of small, bright gold blooms keep coming from late spring all the way through frost! In fact, Stella is often the first Daylily to bloom and then the last to end the growing season. The foliage is neat and compact, which makes it excellent to use as an edging, or tucked here and there with other short perennials in the border. The plants possess amazing vigor, which is what fuels the constant reblooming as new fans grow. When plants are too crowded bloom slows down, so to maintain best bloom, divide your clumps every 2-3 years, and keep the plants watered and fed after the initial blooming period. Removing spent bloom stalks will also encourage rebloom. Hardy, permanent and easy to grow, Stella de Oro is a great choice for any garden. 2.5 to 3-inch blooms start in the Early Season and bloom recurrently until frost. Stout Medal Recipient 1985.
