Wineberry Candy Daylily
A Recurrent Bloomer, One of the Larger and Longer-Blooming of the Famous Candy Series!

One of the first to bloom, and one of the longest to bloom! Also one of the larger-flowered of the Candy Series, with blooms of soft orchid pink centered by wine-purple eye zones. An added bonus, the blossoms stay open for 16 hours or more, which means they still look fresh when you get home from work or sit on the patio in the evening. Like all the Candies, Wineberry Candy exhibits excellent hardiness, good branching, very high bud count (20 is considered low for a Candy!), highly contrasting eyes, and great garden performance. In addition, it has exceptional rebloom, repeatedly sending up scapes through the last half of the growing season. A real high performer! 4.75- to 5-inch blooms on 22-inch stems open in the Early Season and Midseason, then flower repeatedly during the later part of the season. Hemerocallis 'Wineberry Candy'
